The term ultra vires mean “beyond the power” if any act or activity has a certain legal power, but the act was done beyond the said limited power (Miller & Hollowell, 2018). In the case of business, every company fixed a limit of legal power and authority by enacting any statute, but such a company used the power beyond this limit, though such power is not against the public policy and is illegal (Miller & Hollowell, 2018). The scope of this doctrine is restricted by statute or article of the organization and applicable in the case of a company or corporation.
